男主角还没有出场，倒是跑出来了几个校啦啦队的美少女们。

她们充满活力地喊声，仿佛下一秒就是什么比赛的下半场。
身后乐队过电的伴奏声响起——

真没想到格温还能唱出这么成熟的低音，她唱出的第一句就让观众们吸引在她制造的怀旧版迷情漩涡里——据说是她向某位尚在12岁的乐坛女王学的。
男主角还是没出来。

像是一只蝴蝶飞过一样，耳边响起了一阵从左到右的晶晶亮的声效。

格温接着唱出柔情与低沉兼备的歌声。

Look at us, we're going the distance
迈尔斯随之走了出来，穿着属于他自己风格的街头风服装。
忍着心跳，他对着话筒——

“自己适合的风格”——对于要符合格温的想法，又要适合迈尔斯的节奏来说，这种RNB风格的“说‘唱’”莫过于是两全其美的风格了。

迈尔斯感觉自己不是在礼堂而是还在卧室里，戴着耳机听着自己喜欢的歌，然后跟着哼出来一样——虽然是很大声的“哼”出来——

格温随之跟上了一句高音，接替迈尔斯完成了剩下的歌唱。

啦啦队队员从另一侧又跑了上来，重复了一遍刚才的歌词，随即下场，比赛结束。
迈尔斯的腿已经软到没知觉了，他甚至不知道自己是怎么走位的，反正就是跟着他所看了N遍的吉米秀里面TD$的样子照葫芦画瓢了一番罢了——
最终还是完成了，可喜可贺。
过了一秒钟，他便淹没在了一片欢呼声中。
当然，在台上的他也没注意到某个中年大叔在隔绝了小年轻势力的角落里，默默地看着一切，脸上是缩不回去了的笑容。
